The Chinese zodiac symbols

Capricorn – represented by a “V” similar to the Aries “V”, but the end is extended downward to form a “J” and with an oval attached to the middle of the “J”.

Virgo – represented by the “M” shape similar to the Scorpio “M”, but its right tail has an elf’s pointed left ear attached to it.

Leo – represented by a circle on the left. With a winding tail, that curls up and then down, on the right.

Sagittarius – represented by an arrow pointing in the North-East direction, with a short perpendicular line cutting across it near its middle.

Libra – represented by a sign similar to the mathematical sign for “approximate value”.

Cancer – represented by the number 69, rotated 90 degrees to the right.

The Chinese zodiac symbols are represented by twelve animals. Each animal determines the year that a person was born. The animals are the: rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog and boar. Even though simpler in their designs, they are by no means less artistic than the western symbols. You can also opt for the Chinese calligraphy versions of the symbols, which are equally stylish and beautiful.
